#AugustYogaJam Day 1: Standing Side Stretch
This is a great warm up stretch to add to your yoga routine!
Stand with your feet slightly apart in mountain pose. On an inhalation, lift your hands up towards the sky, lengthening your spine. On an exhale, slowly bend towards one side, making sure that your chest does not collapse forward. Open your arm pits and continue to breathe! Inhale to lengthen your spine, exhale to deepen your bend.
Stay in this pose for 5 - 10 breaths. Inhale to go back to centre, exhale to bring your arms down.
